runPCrun offer for our clients a web-based e-mail broadcast and e-mail marketing system designed for businesses. It allows you to create, send, and track e-mail campaigns.

We find a lot of people just use their existing e-mail software and BCC everyone for this function. However there are many reasons not to. Most desktop e-mail clients don't allow sending to more than 100 or so e-mail addresses at a time. Additionally, BCCing to a large number of e-mail addresses will often land e-mail messages in junk mail folders. Finally, BCCing doesn't allow for message personalization or tracking of individual recipients' behaviors. When you send a mass e-mail through JangoMail, each individual receives his own individual e-mail message, with just his e-mail address in the To line. Lastly, it is possible to land your outgoing email server (either your own, your Internet Service Provider, or runPCrun's) in hotwater by it being seen as a spammer or spam relay and being added to 'blacklist'.
